Sally Ewins, Jenny Hill
Jenny Hill is a professional harpist with diplomas in performance from Trinity College of Music and The Royal College of Music. She was awarded scholarships to study harp at Durham University and then at Trinity College of Music with Sioned Williams (Harpist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra) where she was also awarded the UK Harp Association Prize.
Jenny thoroughly enjoys playing at weddings, corporate events, and government receptions.
She has held numerous teaching positions in schools and at summer schools, including Cheltenham Ladies College, Downe House School, and Marlborough College Summer School.
She teaches at Moulsford Prep, The Manor Prep, St Hugh's, and Cranford House schools, all in Oxfordshire.

Sally Ewins studied flute at the Royal College of Music, graduating with a Performers’ Diploma (First Class), a Teachers’ Diploma and the Eve Kisch prize for Chamber Music and the E.F. James prize for the most outstanding woodwind player. She was awarded a Countess of Munster Musical Trust Scholarship to further her studies in the UK and France with the eminent teachers Susan Milan, Alain Marion, and Raymond Guiot. She was an active solo recitalist giving performances throughout the UK and her concerto appearances have included the Mozart G, D and flute and harp Concertos, Vivaldi Piccolo Concerto and the Ibert Concerto in such venues as Dorchester Abbey and the Queen Elizabeth Hall with orchestras including the London Mozart Players and the London Soloists Chamber Orchestra. As a successful freelance flautist Sally performed with most of the country’s leading orchestras. She worked extensively in the session world, playing on Hollywood films, television dramas, commercials and pop tracks. She also worked in the West End playing for many shows. Throughout her career Sally has taught pupils of all ages and abilities and tutored young people in groups including the National Childrens’ Orchestra, Berkshire Youth Wind Orchestra, Reading Youth Orchestra and many smaller chamber ensembles. In 2011 she gained a PGCE and since 2012, has been the Director of Music at St Hugh’s School, Faringdon.
